Wired the back of the controller panel. Still have to clean a few wires up but it’s close.

It is hard to photograph but here it is. Looking from the back this is the left wall. All power supply’s and battery backup.

This is the right side looking in from the back.

If a tank is full of rodi, rock and sand how should I add salt. I have my return and 1 MP40 for circulation.

Should I add salt slow in the return chamber or add salt to the display?
I’m not positive if it will fall in the sand and rocks causing it not to mix.

Add slowly to the display near the return or PH. Add a little, wait, add more wait, etc.

In a empty tank, you can add it pretty much wherever.

It will all dissolve eventually. I'm not patient enough to add a little at a time to a livestock free tank. I would dump in alot at once, wait until it was mixed in, and repeat until I get close. Then add a bit at a time to hit the proper SG.

Thanks for the advice unfortunately I have decided to take the long approach. I have nothing but time to kill at this moment.

@Katrina71 thank you. I had great people guiding me along. I removed the paper fish for the pictures so everyone wouldn’t laugh at me.

@mmw64 I’m handy with a lot of stuff but wood work. Now that I said that I’m sure my plumbing will leak everywhere.
Half the reason for getting in this hobby was for the setup of the equipment I love to do projects.
I think I may have seen 2 people who didn’t complain or have an issue with Red Sea top off so that was a priority.
Thank you for stoping by my thread. Do you have a thread or pictures of your tank?
Sorry no. I'm not handy and have to have my grandson help me post pictures! Love to see other peoples builds though.

When to the LFS for a Milwaukee salinity tester and found him.
He was caged up for being bad. He wanted to go home with me

Yeh right! Lol

Infact thinking about it, this happens to me every time I go to the LFS as well!

Nicely done! Looks clean and well organized. Do you have a light for under the cabinet? I have found that adding one was the second best additions when I re-did my tank.
