@SPR1968 the last couple times I had to stop at the LFS I try not to look at anything. It’s hard to see stuff you want but can’t bring home.

@Katrina71 are you volunteering help install lights for me?

I don’t have much to offer but I think I can make it worth your time

@hdsoftail1065 I’m late to everyone’s threads so I understand. Its hard to keep up with everyone. I’m still finding threads. [emoji1745]‍[emoji3603]

Thank you for taking time and checking up on me

I drove 1hr each way to a fish store to buy RODI water in till I get my setup installed. I had to make 3 trips, 6 hours of driving and made it 30 min before they closed on the last trip but got my tank filled.

I have one bad MP40 wet side and I broke the bubble plate in the Nyos skimmer.
Ecotech will be sending replacement one of these days. Not very big on the Aqua Illuminations/ ecotech warranty procedures it takes to long emailing back and forth.
Ecotech is only 30 min drive from me I wish could just stop in.

Are they battery or plug in? They look like they have decent light

They plug in, the top plug on the left is it. ran the wires on top so you can't see them. Uses a remote and can change the color.

How’s that p trap working out for you?

Unfortunately that was the only way I could get the Waterbox plumbing to connect to my basement drains using their shutoff. Waterbox uses metric plumbing and I had to figure out were to change it to standard and run it to my basement lines that were already installed for my last tank. And it works OK I guess :)

I got my heaters set to 80 and my apex turns them on at 78 and off at 78.8.
It takes about 90 minutes to heat up and little less to cool off.
My house temp is 63-65

I also got the ATO setup and working then I added my salt.
Still have to setup the WXM for the MP40’s and calibrate the PH probe.
I got to figure out on the apex, so confused.
I order Dr. Tim’s bacteria and ammonia but it got delayed to Monday delivery.

Thank you @Fudsey I will have to go and look at them. I like they are compact

I use battery powered puck lights. One on each side. Press them to turn on. Also from HD. Simple and cheap. Although disco is way more fun.

@NY_Caveman disco is more fun but like the puck light because no cords.
How long do the batteries last?

I want lights but don’t think I want remotes or switches. I would like to do door sensors

My top pet peeve’s are hoses, cords, and that brings us to batteries. It’s very hard living with my self at times
