Sounds like u got it all under control. In my travels I have read and was also a victim of goniapora disliking higher po4 levels. Hopefully the fuge adjustment is all it takes. Let nature handle itOver the weekend I took the advice of some friends and now have my moonlights turn off. The male clown must be scared of the dark because I see him snuggling up in the BTA with the female now.
Sand bed has been free from Cyanobacteria and is looking good.
My PO4 jumped up from .04 to .23 and NO3 went from 5 to 25. I think the cause of the jump in PO4 may have been from a rock I put in my sump I think it was a rock that was in the display in the beginning that got mixed up with clean rock.
During the rise in nutrients the green Goni isn’t looking good so that or the longnose is irritating it.
I adjusted fuge light intensity and longer on time for the extra nutrients. This weekend I will test water and may do a larger water change.
The pintail has been little stressed from the lineatus and PBT chasing him. The past week they seem to be leaving him alone and he is looking better.
Very happy with how the tank has been lately but need to get my nutrients stabilized
Me too. Always close to the glass and not moving much makes for easier pictures.I always fall for good clown pics!
Good job!
Thank you. I grew to love them. Clown and BTA completes a reef tank.Your tank looks amazing. I love the clowns and bta
I love Goni and put it in my tank early because I never had any PO4 and figured that was my chance to have them. Funny part was the green did good and the red didn’t do well. Now the green has no extension and the red looks it’s best lol.Sounds like u got it all under control. In my travels I have read and was also a victim of goniapora disliking higher po4 levels. The tangs look fat. Loving it.
For 2 days the pistol shrimp hasn’t made a sound or an appearance. Over the weekend he molted but the next day was back to moving sand. The goby is wondering and acting like he did before the shrimp. Not sure why or what killed him but pretty sure he is gone.
Harder losing one from your mistakes or seeing a pair get separated.
I think he molted but I didn’t see it for awhile. He was out and about for three days after the molt.He might be fine but the tank is saying no. We will see soonIf he molted u wont see him during the period of time his new exoskeleton hardens. Give it some time.
Fingers crossed for ya budI think he molted but I didn’t see it for awhile. He was out and about for three days after the molt.He might be fine but the tank is saying no. We will see soon
Thanks. Do it for the goby lolFingers crossed for ya bud
Thank youI hope it makes an appearance soon
The open water is scary for clowns lol.I think my clownfish must be ‘a little slow’ because I’ve got an anemone, a big one, and the clownfish stay in the top left hand side of my tank for most of their lives.
You’d think they might want to venture out and explore the reef, but no.......
And great pictures!

Such a great looking Anemone! The wait is worth it. Seeing the clowns host is a wonderful thing. If it makes you feel any better, it took my clowns 10 months to figure out they should check out the anemone. Now they won't leave it.
Looks like the goby was wondering around strangely because he left pistol shrimp in tomini home. During feeding time I saw goby and pistol headed home.
