Just curious as to what these little white strands are that are popping up all over my dry rock during the cycle.

Bacterial bloom. It means the cycle is kicking in. Your tank will probably get cloudy too and that's ok

Thanks for the responses. The water is indeed turning cloudy with a bacterial bloom now.
