looks well thought out - your experience shows.
Thank You Sincerely. At this stage of life I often wonder if In fact I do think it out well enough. Not sure if I will get it to a full blown Reef setup, but I do it for fun, and to relax. ( My bird has been with me 21 years, My dog 12. I do tend to hang on).

Well, the functional slopes of your drains, diy skimmer stand, threaded plumbing unions, pipe supports, and silicone hose pump connection all caught my eye as good practices of a guy probably not on his first tank

I have 3 sons who all have saltwater tanks and helped me allot !! They disagreed on the plumbing, and one side does drain better, but that is simply adjusting the angle. I stocked my 55 gal DT sump with Biocube, rocks and have a bit of a head start,,, Thank You for Your positive review. I really am reading far too much and doubting each step I take. Today is day 23 and I put 4 fish from my 55 that were too aggressive in 150 Sunday past... sop far so good.
