You can't see it in the picture but it has two bulk heads on the other side one 1" and one 1/2 " for emergency drain in case the 1 drain gets stopped up@Jeff Jarry reef Nice DIY algae scrubber. This is a female so sorry for the dumb questions.

I see the water goes up into the PVC pipe, and then flows onto the plastic mat where it gets hit with two lights. Where does the water exit?
It's a 90 with a 20 gallon frag tank tied to it and yes it probably will be really packed when they grow out. I just don't have room for a bigger tank.BTW I love your corals. I think you are going to out grow your tank by next year. How big is your tank?
