I knew I had worms. I've even taken a few out and patted myself on the back. But I just got a red flashlight and had a good long look after lights out. My goodness. They are everywhere.

This isn't an ID request thread. I know this is a Eunice worm (hopefully of the non-bobbit variety):


Just sharing how amazing it is to see what is in your tank at night when you've invited everything in from the gulf (live rock/sand).

Worked thank you, and the red light is very cool! Feel like I’m watching an Alien documentary .
Yes, I'd recommend getting one if you have live rock. With a regular flashlight, even the slightest motion would send worms retracting instantaneously. With this red light, they didn't seem bothered a bit unless I made a big movement. You see a lot more.
