Just got this coral today. Had a question?!?

Hey guys! Just got this coral today it is attached to piece of rock quite firmly. Is there a way to get it off? I didn’t really pull or try anything because I don’t want to hurt it. My first real attempt at coral here.

Bone cutters or even Large wire or tin snip- cut at very base OR take to an LFS that has a saw and ask them to cut it for you

Jeez. I didn’t think it would be on so tight. Maybe I’ll just leave it on it for awhile then.

Cut some of the stems off it and super glue them onto frag plugs and put them in your sand bed. Then you can decide to sell/give them away as smaller corals than one large one. or even keep a piece for yourself.
