Just got this yellow look tenuis this morning. But I cant find what kind of light should I glue it.
Now I just glued it on top . Is that be ok?
And flow is strong flow on that place.
They are normally collected from shallow water so I would think it would be just fine. Defiantly with t5 or halide, led might need some acclimation but I will let an led user say so if thats what your using.
I don't like the looks of the base either, brown specs and bleached or missing skin sets off all kinds of alarm bells. Best triple check for pests IMO.
Looks like a nice green aussie tenuis to me. Looks pretty good too, its not lost much color or anything. Just a dead/bleached spot at the base which I would keep an eye on. Lets not get the OP all paranoid over pests, the damage doesn't look like aefw marks from the picture, and a better pic would be needed to see if thats the case. I see more acropora pests come from hobbyists tanks than in boxes of wild or maricultured acros. But knowing the potential pests involved with acropora and understanding how to identify them is a must when keeping acropora.
