I have not gotten the sailfin yet. But he is a medium. While when I bought the purple he was listed as a small. So I would assume not.
Might be an issue to watch. My adult sailfin is NASTY. She will mess with my purple at times. He gives it right back but he was there before her which I think helped. Both sailfins Ive had were nasty to new tangs. Mine tried to de throne my sohal tang when I put her in

WOULD STRONGLY SUGGEST QUARANTINE BEFORE ADDING.

Would then go to walmart and buy yourself a clear container, the largest that you can float in your tank. Use a 3/4 or 1 inch drill bit and make several holes. You now have a home made inexpensive acclimation box. Keep io acc box at least 2 weeks. Then on release “night”, feed all fish heavily, shut the lights, add mirrors and release. Fingers crossed.

I am soo ticked off at liveAquaria. I was super excited to finally be getting my "yellow eyed kole tang". But this morning I got the email that they cancelled my order. What the heck. Don't Buy from Them. I have yet to get a reason as to why my order was cancelled.

1.) Get an acclimation box or make one. Make sure it's not too shallow - the fish needs to be able to hang around where the other fish will see it.

2.) Get some mirrors and try the mirror trick on both sides of the tank - if nothing else it'll almost buy you some time

3.) Like aggressive cichlids, tang gangs tend to do better with larger numbers. It's a lot harder to get 3-4 tangs to get along than it is to get 10 tangs to get along.
