LOL, thanks!Welcome..
Thanks! I like how everyone calls it a "hobby". I'm not used to referring to my addictions as "hobby's" lolWelcome to R2R and your new reefing community and welcome to the hobby.
Thanks! Question: Why do I need to bring my salinity up to 1.025, is that better for everything? The premade salt water I buy reads 1.024, so i've been keeping it the same as that. (maybe it is actually higher, but my refractometer reads low? I just use the premade salt water I buy as my baseline and match it with my tank.)Nice record keeping. Bring salinity up to 1.025 if you can otherwise great start !!! Feel free to ask questions always
Thanks!Welcome to r2r!

Thanks!Welcome to R2R !
1.025 is "ideal" but you won't really see issues at 1.024. It's just better to keep it in the right place in case it gets bumped one way or the other due to evaporation/top-off, etc. Gives you more wiggle room before you do start to see problems.
Welcome to R2R, and to the salt-life!
