Starting to set up a new frag tank. Ordered a 75 gallon 60"x24"x10" acrylic tank from Advanced Acrylics to plumb into existing frag system. I've got a 20 long and 40 breeder connected to a common sump. I will connect this into the same sump so I can control all the tanks with one set of apex, dosers, UV, liverock, skimmer and reactors/filters. I am building a simple stand from 2x4s and plywood.

Tank and sump scheduled to arrive on the 20th.
I will build a stand after it arrives, to fit both the 60x24 frag tank and 40x18 sump underneath, using 2x4s and plywood for suport. Then run pvc pipes from all other tanks ( 20 long used for mushrooms, 40 breeder used for lps and maybe another 75 with anemones and fish) to the new sump. If I get everything connected it would give me about 200 gallons in 4 tanks with an additional 30-40 gallons in the sump. This lets me use my current ATO, dosers (Red Sea) and Apex/trident.

Other equipment, some of which I will be moving to the new system:

2x Simplicity skimmer DC240
2x Bubble Magus Filter Roll, Medium Gen. 2
2x 36w UV lights
return pumps- Current and Hygger, I have some backups as well.

Lighting:
I was exploring lights for the 60x24, I have Reefbreeder's Photon V2 pros on most of the tanks, but they are coming out with a new version later this year, Meridean. I may just throw in a couple
VIPARSPECTRA and a NooPsyche K7 PRO III (already have it) until I can order those new lights when they come out.

Can anyone comment about the Vivarspectras? This will be primarily a sps tank. I have more experience with Reefbreeders growing sps, but I have a friend who swears by his Vivarspectras. Money saving option for now.

And got the tank into place. Left enough space behind so I can access the plumbing.

Working on plumbing now.

Nice! I got one from them as well with black bottom and back with all the edges polished.
Still waiting for it. Mine's 36x24x12"h. Looks pretty sturdy!
Yes, it's great. He upgraded mine to 1" plexi for free.
