Finally upgraded to a larger tank and figure I should start documenting the journey...

Set it up in June 2021 and ran into a bunch of nutrient stability issues the first few months (causing me to lose everything in the transfer). About a year later, it's finally feeling more mature and I've started heavily stocking corals.

Equipment:
WB 100.3
G4 XR15 & G5 XR30
1x MP10
2x Reef Wave 45s
Reef Octopus 110 Skimmer
Avast Spyglass running Rowaphos
RS Reef Dose 4

Livestock:
Diamond Goby
Clownfish
Circus Goby
Scopus Tang
Lawnmower Blenny
Yellow Coris Wrasse
Mandarin Dragonet
Lots of SPS, collector mushrooms and a few softies/LPS

Here are a few of my favorite pieces right now...

Great looking stuff. The 1st pic, soft coral? Stereonepthea or dendro? Where from? Big fan of them.
Appreciate you stopping by the thread! That one is the Koji Wada Pink Nephthea. It’s my personal favorite and looks stunning under whites/blues. Completely photosynthetic to boot. Unique has them sometimes.

Nice. I have 2 koji wada from UC but not that polyp extension. I have 2 other stereos from Pablo, Marine Farmers which have that extension

What’ are ur numbers now for no3 and po4. I was running rowa in a reactor and stopped. Picked up my water changes and just let the fish. YT, Starki damsel, bimac anthias, Borbonius, Melanarus, mandarin, flame hawk, and yasha goby feed the corals. Tests from today

Here are my nitrate and phosphate charts since the tank first started. I’ve noticed my corals look best as long as the nitrate to phosphate ratio is balanced. I would say my nutrients are very very high (phosphate at 2+ and nitrate 50+) but zero nuisance algae. I believe the 2+ phosphates were slowing down my sps so I’ve since started Rowa with a target of 0.4 ppm. I’d like maintain a 100:1 ratio so ~40 nitrate to 0.4 phosphate

Those numbers look really good! I wouldn’t run Rowa at such low levels. I’ve got an Avast plank dumping flake food every hour so my phosphates shoot up very quickly.

Mine have always loved high flow and high light. It’s sitting right under the water line with the gyre pointed towards it.

Tank is really taking off now and thought it would be fun to share some growth pics. It's really noticeable in fast growers like birdsnest.

First picture is on 5/24 when I purchased the frag from a LFS. Second picture is today on 7/2. Not bad for a month!

Still trying to color up this bounce from UC. It must have shipped poorly as it arrived completely brown. 4 months later, it's grown a ton and now has pink iridescence on the vesicles. Supposedly it might be from the Solomon Islands and overall pretty unique shroom. Pics are from 2/17/22 -> 7/2/22.

Updated FTS. Everything is chugging along. Added a bunch of new stuff after Aquashella Dallas.

So went on vacation and sadly my CSB took a took a walk for a few days. Ended up killing my Koji Wada colony and a plate coral during its stroll. Luckily everything else is looking great
