K-Z Flatworm Stop

Bought it as a preventative before SPS go in to a tank and to see if it helps with faster encrusting. Should the skimmer be on or off when dosed? Those that use it, what are your thoughts? I know it's for flatworms (which I do not have) but doesn't kill them, etc... Thanks!

I would not worry about having your skimmer on or off, I have used it for several years, and it seems not to affect anything with it on. It should help you with growth.

It's snake oil..... Can't say whether it did anything.

"Thanks guys!" I'll keep the skimmer running then. Didn't want to skim it out nor have the skimmer overflow. As far as snake oil, I guess I'll see....

I use it along with full zeovit. No need to turn off skimmer. Don't be surprised if some sps start to produce their mucus after you dose. That is normal and part of the reason flatworms don't like this stuff. If you want to see some pretty stellar growth/color results use in conjunction with "coral booster".
