I put together the kalkstirrer and leak tested it to find a few small leaks at the base. I made sure to place a good bead around the base and on the outside. Would you recommend placing a bead of silicone inside? I imagine even Kalk wouldn't affect the silicone. Thanks.

Hi Reece,

Dry it out really good and then apply a bead of the thickened cement that came with the diy kit to the inside. It is a little awkward to do but with a kalk stirrer there is enough room to get your hand down there.

Cool, just did. I wasn't sure that would do the trick. So tomorrow I will leak test it then. Thanks.

I added a liberal amount to the inside and sure enough it passed the leak test. Good to go!
