Well, the grind to dismantle the 125 is just about done.

Cleaned up the hydras so theyre ready for the new gig over the cube.

Should get plenty of par with these side by side.

I think you could go two, mine are not big swimmers like nasos, the yellow never leaves the display so in like 75 G! ;)
How do you think two or three y scopes would do? Need yellow and don’t want a group of yellow tangs.

Heres the piece ive been workin on to get the coral real estate buffed up in the front. Using Seachem Coral Crete for this one. The peices are just too small and need the added structural support the epoxy puddy gives me.

Heres the current scape, hopefully wrapped up today. Sadly, the pictures are doing it no justice. It looks so busy in the front now, but in person its nothing of the sort. The depth is lost in the photo.

I took the next few mondays off to use up some vacation time and lengthen the holidays breaks as i always have done in the past. Should give me enough time to get the 125 ready for sale.

Alright. No turning back now. All pieces are epoxied. Then after the cure I swapped the two front pieces for s&g. Pretty much sold at this point. I could easily smash some more rock and make another, but i think im done.

Loving the scape.
Thanks chief.

Its been almost 3 months i believe since the hunt for rock started. Im afraid to begin plumbing, power, and sump. The stand will be built around it.

Agree stand should be built around sump and plumbing. I was to lazy to weld a stand and now it’s making getting a sump the size I want a pain. Oh well

So many options. The doodling shall come soon. Think im gonna set the tank up where the scape is and drop the pieces in to see the final look.

What's so scary about plumbing? You've got enough back up here to talk you into.... I MEAN through anything ;Smuggrin

And I agree with the scape, in the pics it does look a "Tad" busy, however in a smaller aquarium busy can be good. Lots of hiding spaces for your fish and yet still easy to switch a couple things around if someone is getting a little too territorial.
Thats the idea. If i have to give up a little aesthetics, so ensure calm and peace in the reef, then thats worth it to me.

Im not afraid of the actual work of the build. Its my ocd planning thats going to be the death of me.

Following this new thread!
Welcome vic...

Ahhhh been there, I love planning, it's sooo much fun! Atleast you're a little limited space wise so the planning can't go too out of control ;Smuggrin
I may only have 50g up top, but the plan is to have at least 50 below. Might use a 75g, oversized stand and power station etc.
