Hey guys,
I need some advice. I have a chiller that is on a tank that had an accidental massive dose of Kalk. there is buildup on everything. I am wondering how to clean the inside of the chiller to remove the buildup that is certainly in there. Can I use Vinegar? Suggestions, warnings, do's, don't;s all welcome.

I always used a vinegar and water mixture to clean my chiller. Just put the supply and return lines in the same bucket and let it run for a few hours. You should also back flow it. Switch the return and supply lines to run water through it in reverse. That should get it cleaned up nicely. Obviously this should be done when the chiller is not connected to the tank.

+1, every six months.
