Kalkwasser and Alk Dosing....Im Getting Annoyed

I'm in the same boat. Discussion below on my experiences. I have the same big alk spike at refill time and I find myself burning through significantly more kalk powder than any calculator out there i.e. AV's own kalkculator just trying to keep the potency up, but no matter what I do.. I get 6-7 days max before it drifts to a point forcing a kalk replenish. Good luck.

My journey back to kalk from a CaRX has been a rocky one trying to solve for pH, but I'm close. I finally figured out that I need the kalk stirrer to run 24/7 in order to keep the solution saturated enough to actually dose potent kalk. Running it periodically through various stir schedules...
