Do you go for saturation 1.5tsp per gallon? Just support the pump off the floor of the reservoir to avoid pump wear? But I just mix my kalkwasser, add it to the ATO reservoir, and leave it alone until it's time to refill.

I believe saturation is 2tsp per gallon, but the amount you need will depend on your tanks demand. Almost always better to start low and build up to the desired dose.Do you go for saturation 1.5tsp per gallon? Just support the pump off the floor of the reservoir to avoid pump wear?
Oh thank you for clarifying. And yes I definitely plan on working up. I ultimately want to do this in my ato so I will have to chart the tanks usage of Ca/alk first and work my way up.I believe saturation is 2tsp per gallon, but the amount you need will depend on your tanks demand. Suspend the pump of the bottom so you don't suck up any of the gunk that builds up on the bottom of the reservoir.
