Después de leer sus artículos y comentarios, todavía no entiendo qué estoy haciendo mal con el Kalkwasser.
Tengo Fauna Marin Kalkwasser. Mezclo 5 gramos en 5 litros de agua RODI y añadir 2,5 ml/min no me sube el pH.

Solo necesito mantener el pH de mi acuario por debajo de 8 durante la noche, pero no lo consigo. ¿Podrías ayudarme?

Kalkwasser raises pH in proportion to the amount added. But you cannot add more than the alk demand. If it is maintaining alk where you want it, you have hit the limit of what it can do in your tank.

Often, kalk alone does not sufficiently raise pH in low pH situations, and other methods are necessary.

Your kalk can be made a bit more potent. If it is maintaining alk, that doesn’t matter. But if you find it does not maintain alk, you can dissolve about 7.5 g into that 5 liters.

Ok, I think I understand that the Kalkwasser won't do much for my pH.

My tank is a high consumption tank, so I had to change from Triton to a calcium reactor to maintain alkalinity, this caused my pH to drop a lot (7.8 to 8.15).

I was trying to adjust my pH but I should lower the addition of my calcium reactor but I think it would be more problematic due to my low evaporation rate, 2.5ml/min hasn't even managed to raise the pH at all, and it's compensating for the evaporation.
