Your don’t need a $250 pump to feed your calcium reactor.
Heck just tea it off your return pump with a cut off valve
Calcium reactors need very little flow feeding it.

My friend is beta testing one right now. He raves about it. I think you will be able to find them in the near future at favorite Kamoer dealers!

While this is true about little flow, but that little flow needs to be consistent, otherwise you will run into problems. Running a CaRX from a manifold just isn't ideal.

Why wouldn’t the flow from my return pump be consistent

Manifolds and Ts after pumps are difficult to get consistent flow from. Might be working well enough for your purposes, but there's good reasons why people wouldn't want that for a CA reactor, where steadiness is important.

I've been using a Tom's aqualifter to pull water through the calcium reactor for a few months and it's been working great. It runs 24/7 and I'm sure it will fail at some point but I can buy a replacement for less than 20 bucks so even if I run through 2 a year now big deal. I had my CARX running off my return pump and I got very inconsistent flow

I wouldnt hesitate to use any pump from kamoer, especially a $250 one. They make great pumps. I use them in my dosing pumps and in my alkatronic alk monitor/controller. I am also about to use one of their bigger peristaltics/control boards to make an auto frozen food feeder.

check this out, can see most of the pumps they offer, there are many others that may be suitable. Also the second link has it for cheaper than $250:

This one might be easier to use if it meets the same criteria for performance, not sure:

A friend of mine uses the fx-stp model and is satisfied with it. I just ordered mine also and will be here in a couple of days.

@solitude127 Is there a circ pump on the calcium reactor? Do you just pull Water thru the reactor with no feed pump? Can you detail the plumbing/tubing from the feed to the effluent? TIA

Aquamaxx has a circulation pump in that white box on the top.

I have a Korallin CaRx and I Pull not push from the reactor , the reactor is gravity fed and from the reactor the effluent is pushed into a secondary chamber from where the final effluent falls in the sump. Very happy with this company and their peristaltic pump. Only worry with any system two part or CaRx when you travel you don’t know where your Alk is as any system needs to be adjusted from time to time as per demand. Thinking to invest in a Alk monitor/controller , waiting for trident from neptunesys , if it delays more I may for KH guardian
