Search feature hasn't returned a thread about this for a few years.

Is anyone using this for Auto Water Changes. I have a shoulder/elbow thing and water changes are getting hard for this old salt. Looking to mount a unit in my garage and have it pump from my mixing station and into my display tank about 20 feet away. I understand this unit is loud, but that is OK.

I plan to use it on a need based, not have it do a gallon a day or something on it's own.

Anyone using this and happy?

Are you using it with or without the float switches?

I did a little digging because your 20-foot run caught my attention. There are definitely people using the X2SR successfully over that kind of distance. I found one R2R member with his mixing station about 20 feet away, and it seemed to be pretty common use for it.
