In my welcome thread someone suggested starting a tank thread. Sounds like great idea
This will be about our 120g tank. We started with 40 lbs of live rock we have had for years that started out as basically just base rock. In November 2015 my husband found a local guy moving & was selling his rock, corals & fish. We bought the inside of his tank including the water & sand.
We originally had a T5 light but the 2nd day we had it 1/2 the moonlights went out. Within 2 weeks of running it the actinics went out. We switched to LED and didn't have any problems because everything we bought were under LED's.
We have had the tank fully running since November 2015. We have only had 1 casualty - we lost the fox face several weeks ago. Here are some pictures. I'll try to keep this updated as much as I can.

Looks great. Thanks for sharing and this a great spot to keep us posted on your progress. Sorry about the foxface...never any fun loosing a tank member.
