Looking to keep some clams in my new tank build, will T5 or LEDs support them , or will I need to go with metal halides ?

Thank you for your input, advice, suggestions.

With T5's depends on how many lamps and where you place the Clam. LED's no problem, especially if they're controllable.
You'll want to wait till your tank matures and parameters are stable before adding one.

Thank you nana...anyone else ?

If you use a quality t5 fixture and bulbs you will have no problems keeping a clam on your sandbed

I have a 6 bulb ATI fixture and get PAR of 330 on my sandbed on a standard 75 gal tank. More than enough lol!
