This is going to be an odd one... my copperband only eats mussels and blackworms. Is there anyway I can get a holding tank or put a basket in my reef tank to keep them alive? Currently I leave 4 in fridge and freeze the rest (about 16) and thaw them when I run out in the fridge... he by far prefers them live and absolutely devours them when alive. He spits out half of the mussels when they are thawed and dead... let me know... I know it's weird...

Try putting the clams in a tube with pytoplankton to feed and then back in the fridge to keep them cold?
Maybe look for freshwater clams that you can culture? They are filter feeder.

I would do this but he doesn't like clams. Only mussels I've kept him for about a year now I'm not that worried just annoyed because he is polluting the water a lot

I hope he is doing well. And that he is now eating other foods

Unfortunately he did pass about 6 months ago. I'm pretty sure this was his downfall I have a new one in qt thats does eat anything I give him thank God lol
