I just removed a large Kenya tree coral from my 100 gallon tank. It released a large amount of brown ink. Should I be worried. I'm running carbon reactor with gfo and uv sterilizer. Also released some clear slime.

I am worried about doing a large water change I just did 25% 2 days ago after using prazipro. I use red sea coral pro salt and my cal and mag will go up too high if I do. Any suggestions.

Lights are just ramping on now all the corals seem fine except my finger leather it's new to the aquarium anyway but I read that softie s will go to war with each other maybe that's the reason.

Unless you cut it right down the middle I wouldn't worry too much. I rarely cut my kenya trees since they drop babies weekly (daily), but I cut toadstools, cabbage corals, and other leathers without issue. I just make sure the carbon in the reactor is fresh prior.

Yes running skimmer, carbon is 2 days old ROX .8 also turned on my bubble scrubber. Going to lfs to sell them my Kenya tree and buy some red sea salt instead of using red sea coral pro going to do a 16 gallon WC

I did cut the main trunks at the base of my rock. I tried to peal it off but was really stuck good would of ripped it apart so cut it with surgical scissors instead

What if I mixed the coral pro salt longer and heat it up do you think that would reduce the trace elements in the salt?

Unknown which chemicals would precipitate and at what rate. I like your idea to use some of the "Blue" bucket.
