Kessil A150w questions

I just got one for my nano for a good price and was wondering the best way to acclimate my corals to this new light. Right now I'm running a 20k 150w metal halide over a 20 tall. Please let me know what all you guys know about this light.

How should I acclimate? Just distance from water?

Ah sorry, didn't see the acclimation portion. Yup, just distance since it's not a dimmable light.

That's what I was thinking. I might try to find a way to make it dimmable. Shouldn't be to hard lol

are you hanging it or do you have the gooseneck?

the gooseneck is very rigid and adjusting height is difficult so hanging would be the easiest option regarding height adjustment

It's coming with the gooseneck so ill probally take it off for the acclimation then put it back on to mount it afterwards
