Tank: 210 (72x24x24)
Lights: 4 x A360X Kessils & 2x reef brite LED blue strips

After watching the BRS episode on par readings i went to my LFS and rented a par meter. I wanted to post and share for those who are also thinking about the A360X’s (Location of my par meter wasn’t exact but you can clearly see the difference)

Without reflectors: Without the reflectors my tank wouldn’t be at the recommended Par levels mentioned my BRS. 250-350 (For SPS)

With reflectors:

Once i added the reflectors i’m on target for the recommended BRS par levels.

Looking at your #s they are as I expected but I think the opposite of what you think.
I think your #s were much more evenly spread and likely had less shadows without the narrow reflectors. Having par range from 70-400 is not ideal.

The narrow reflectors make them give good spread only over 18x18 inches so unless you are using 8 of them 4x2 your tank is not going to get an even spread with the narrow reflectors on there. Narrow reflectors don't create more par they just focus it into smaller areas meaning every place your par went up got that extra par from another place that went down.

I appreciate that I’m going to take off 2 of them on the inside to help with the spread distribution. I’m still happy with the results
