I posted in a local reefing Facebook group asking if anyone was selling a light that would be good with a 20 g waterbox. A guy responded saying he has a Kessil a360we. I know that those are the older version and not made anymore. He said he would sell it with the mounting arm for $150. He has used it for a month and got it from a friend that used it for a year. I was thinking of getting the Noopsyche K7 which is around the same price new. The Kessil new is much more expensive, but I wasn't sure if that higher price actually made a difference in performance or quality. I know a lot of people are really happy with their K7's. Let me know if anyone has experience with these lights and suggests one over the other.

Never used a Kessil, but have the K7's, I would go with the K7

I may be wrong but I think the noop is going to have better spread with 2 pucks vs the single puck on the kessil. I've read that the K7 IV has less wattage than the III. I found the III to be a very capable budget light but I don't know what changes they made to the IV. I ran six K7 III over this tank.

And later moved them to this tank.

That looks nice...
I just took down my old tank ...had Radion four XR30 blue gen 5 on it.
Got my hands on some used Kessil A360x and put 3 on the new build I started a few days ago.
New tank is 90"x36"x23" and I really like the look, the color and spread.
Will never go back to Radions, they are a good light and performed well.
I am not saying anything bad about Radions but the Kessil is the look I was after.
Everyone has a preference.
So I may upgrade to the new A360XE or the W360 next year
