Kessil controller X Acclimitization mode

Can anyone explain how this mode works, what it actually does?

I believe it starts the light out at a lower intensity and slowly ramps up over a period of time to slowly acclimate your corals to a level that is good for them

He hit it spot on ^ It slowly acclimates coral over a period of time of your choosing. Default is 7 days I believe.

You can control how many days also what percentage to start at.
