Greetings everybody,

So I got this Little Refugium light with my R150 from Ultum Systems. Its profile is nice and lid has mounting point for it. It has its own timer (and a clock) and external mode. Also 7 or 9 different light spectrums.

Everything is nice, except you actually can not control it via external timer… because if power goes off it defaults to internal timer mode…

So I found a workaround, basically I set it to 00:00 at 12:00 noon my real time and turned timer to start at 01:00 and finish at 23:00.

This way if I want to turn it during night hours - it works perfectly, yes there is 2 hours ‘off’ period which if I decided to run 24/7 needed to be addressed, but at least it works perfectly with my GHL controller and powerbars instead of having to manually programm one more device and remember about it.

Hope this helps and also I emailed Ultum Support this solution.

Nice workaround! Way to beat the tech limitation. Thane for sharing the solution with the community and Ultum Support. Hopefully this saves someone else some frustration.
