Kessil light A360 issue

I have a 4 yo... Kessil 360. Ran at 50 percent....

Recently, It turns off intermittently and randomly.
I unhooked the power from behind it and plugged back and it worked. It's acting up again.

What can I do to fix?!

Also, what's a cheap alternative (any Chinese equivalent?!).

Have you taken it apart to clean it thoroughly?

Take it off the mount and blow some compressed air through it. Get the fan to spin a little too. If a compressor is not handy, try air duster.

I agree with both @Reefer Matt and @Tamberav cleaning may be the trick. It sounds like its overheating. Taking it apart and using compressed air to blow off all the dust may fix the issue. It may also be the fan going bad. Clean it first.

I had a similar issue, eventually the light didn’t turn back on.

Sent it to Alex at fixreef.com and it’s as good as new.

Some kind of component that controls the startup of light. Supposedly common failure after years of usage. Also mine was an a360x. Cost was around $100 but every issue is different.

You can send it to him and he will give you a quote. Don’t know much about the lights you sent but I love my kessil lights and will get new ones when the time comes.

Mine is indeed A360X...
did the cleaning and no improvement.

Bought the Amazon light I mentioned above as backup. Will send kessil to that person for repairs! Thx

I even cleaned the socket connectors.
When I unplug and reconnected it always works....

Weird!!!!
