Kessil lighting questions

Hello .I have a 90 g reef tank4 ft long 18.5 inch deep and am currently up grading the lighting and have decided to go with the kessil lighting. Would 2 kiss A160 WE be enough or do i need to purchase the 360

You could get away with 2 of the 160s. The middle may be not get much light. As i think its 18" spread. I have a 160 on a 18"cube have some lps, sps and softies. The bottom of the light is 24" of the bottom of the glass bottom. I have it at 45% whites.

You would be very happy with 2 360's.

No 160 would be a bad choice. If your going Kessil even without coral 2 360 is just barely enough for fish. Might get away with low lighting soft coral. Especially if you have center brace. I have 4 350 on same tank and running all SPS tank. With good results.

Iv got a kessil 150 sky blue over my 29 cube it's only light I have .my sps grow like crazy iv got a heavy load of sps and great color great growth no problem . So for people say you can't grow sps or barley enough light my tank is living proof it will work .

Not sure why people don't like the Kessils. I have two of them over my Illuminata and it grows sps really well. I recommend the controller if you don't have an apex. Sorry for the grainy photo.

I totally agree! I have a 55 reef tank lots of SPS. I have two Kessil 360 WE's, 8" over the top of the tank.My corals are colored up beautifully, and grow very well. I would think that you need 3 360 WE for a 90 gallon tank.
The shimmer on the lights are beautiful. A big plus, is that this is a great company to work with. If you have any issues with these lights, these guys are very nice and very prompt to fix the issue. If you get Kessils, you won't be sorry. I'm not

I have the same exact tank and i was thinking the same as you back when i was shopping for kessils. I honestly think two 160s is not enough for a 90 gallon unless its a fish only tank. I ended up going with two 360s and couldnt be happier, two 160s is simply not enough for a reef tank on a 90 gallon.

Thanks everyone for the info.
I've seen the kessils in action and love the shimmer and results.
For my price range I feel they will be my best lighting option. I will be going with 2 360s and possible add a third on goose neck mounts

I have 2 360s with a controler on a 75 and am real happy. You might want to look at Kessels new AP 700. 1 fixture with built in controler for around the same$.
