Kessil VS AI Hydra

My Kessil A160WE tuna blue just went out. Needing a replacement and looking for input. Tank is a 21G cube, plan on keeping mostly LPS in the long term with some SPS mixed in but not much. I loved my Kessil but leaning toward the Prime 16 HD for its app controls and programming. Thoughts?

IME the AI Prime 16HD would be a step down from the Kessil. They're more for softies and LPS, as per BRS and my own experience. I'm sure there are exceptions, and my buddy had his candycanes spawn with the Prime, but the Kessil will be stronger. The price is right though - there's definitely a place in this industry for the Primes.

I mostly plan on keeping LPS. For the price, customization, ease of replacing parts if they go bad, as well as the reviews of how good the customer service is I am leaning that direction. The Kessil I loved for the shimmer but hated how I could not do anything programming wise without a controller.
