Key Largo

Hey guys my girlfriend and I are heading down to Key Largo tomorrow for a week. We have never been down there and are looking for some input on things to do, places to see and anything else interesting in the area. Also we are flying into Fort Lauderdale and have some time to kill between when we get there and when we can check into the hotel. Any decent LFS's in the general area? Thanks in advance everyone.

IF you guys are willing to take a day and drive north you can go to WWC, thats always fun. But no big name Stores down there, so I can't imagine anything special.(Like the super rare stuff) There was one in Pompano that was good. I think.

Elite Marine Life In pompano. Reef Addicts in Coral Springs. VIP Reef in Miami. Down in Miami there are a bunch of stores and they usually have cool stuff because they are so close to the airport.

I would head down to Key West the night life In Key largo would be dead , There`s more to do there , Key largo has the National park where you can dive or snorkel but you have a lot to do in Key West , shops ,glassbottom boat , Keywest aquarium , Hemmingway`s house , best view s of sunsets

All great stores. Another one or two that are close to FLL airport are Exotic Aquatic and The Planted Aquarium. Both are on Oakland Park Blvd and not far from the airport.

I thought the snorkeling at fort Jackson was pretty good. It's an amazing trip and would recommend going to key west just for the drive.

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. Got to check out a few of the stores and was pretty impressed with them especially The planted aquarium. We had a great trip. Snorkeled at the pennekamp coral preserve, fished the bay, drove to key west and much more. Can't wait to go back.

I haven`t been to the Key`s In a while , can`t wait till the water warms up so I can go out and collect some stuff for my tanks .
