KH Director alk control question

I'm a bit confused about the setup for the KH director when it comes to controlling Alk. I'm currently using the Add On control, but my question would apply to either doser control mode.

I know how much solution of my Alk it would take to raise dkH by 1. Where I'm confused is if it wants the total value or if it wants the volume change per dose.

For example, if I dose 6 times per, and adding a single 54ml dose of alk solution raises dkH by 1, do I enter 54ml or do I enter 9ml?
Are the limits I enter for raise and lower per dose? Are they per day? Is it between KH Director samples?

I read it as it will only adjust 6ml if the dkh is off by one for pump 1
