I just finished installing the kh director go through with probe calibration and flush. But when I click start measurement I have an error not enought reagent. I check the reagent pump but nothing is out of the ordinary.

Is the reagent line full prior to running a test? It’s the only line that should be full.

Also your pump should be set up to show how much reagent is in the bottle.
IE level monitoring on.

Just an FYI, there are 3 set up videos GHL made on You Tube. They should be able to help you.

Do you have a bubble in the line? sometimes they like to hang out right below the coupling to the dosing head. Also, temporarily upping your number of measurements per day will help get any bubble out of the system. I had a similar error until i went to 6X testing. probably could switch back now, just havent.

I'm pretty certain you need to get your Reagent Pump set up in your doser to show the amount of reagent remaining in the bottle. What is likely happening is the system is attempting to dose and sees no quantity, hence "not enough reagent", so it errors. Mind you I'm no expert but this seems plausible.

Right now you have level monitoring turned off, it should be on.

Perhaps if I'm wrong one of these guys can chime in and help. @Vinny@GHLUSA @Matthias Gross @Ditto

This my first test after new installation

The first and sometimes the second test after calibration will fail, but it is normally a tritation error.

I do also have my level monitored for reagent, showing that it is emptied, and has the capacity of 500ml(the size bottle I use). I normally forget to hit the refill container button when I swap to a new bottle.

Thanks Lasse help me a lot he is such a great guy. He log in and change the settings in the reagent doser. And now it's working however reading is still off from salifert so I'm going to run more test to break in the new director

Awesome!

The readings will be a little off due to margin of error in the Salifert kit and measured hose lengths on the KHD, but they should be within 5-10% of each other. Using a known test solution would be the ideal way to know for sure which is accurate.I might do that tonight across my KHD and test kits on my build thread. ;Writing

As others have mentioned, that error shows because your reagent fluid level has not been set.

Salifert and KHD are not an apple-to-apples comparison. While both test for the same parameter, each use different procedures to arrive at the end-result. Think hobby grade vs. lab grade procedures. Conventional kits are also more prone to user error; dust, water sample inconsistencies, age of reagent, syringe interpretation, color end-result interpretation, etc.

More info on that is on our FAQ page.
