No worries. I am just glad I was able to help you out and it was an easy fix!

These are the kind of problems I love to troubleshoot. :)
I dont have a red line for the pH tube height. Is this correct height?

Also why does it REBOOT each time I get a SW_ERROR. Is this normal?
That is normal. The unit does reboot after each test so once you remove the toothpick, the unit will be able to fully purge and test your tank water. After the test, the unit will reboot and be on standby until the next test comes around.

Thanks. Having trouble on my KS De Gas now. I have extended the re-agent tube to the bottle of the reagent but it doesn't seem to be drawing any reagent liquid (left bottle)

The reagent tube takes a long time to degas because it is basically only administering a drop at a time. So you may have to purge it multiple times. You will see it slowly creep up the tube about 2 mm at a time.

Don't feel dumb Jonathan, if you look back in my thread. I did the same exact thing! ;)
Thanks Rick. I have trouble drawing the reagent solution. KS De Gas no liquid is being drawn. I put the reagent solution in another cup and at same level as the Guardian but no liquid is been drawn. Is there something wrong with the pump? Can you show us the pic of your setup? The instructions aren't very clear.

I don't see anything creeping up at the moment.

It doesn't have one of those acrylic toothpicks plugging the lines too does it? Mine had several, and I will admit, I missed one after removing two of them, and had to remove a third one. Then everything worked.

@Jonty, do you have a build thread on R2R? If not, PLEASE start one! I'd love to follow and learn more about your tank!

Ok because of my "long" tube it took like 10mins but finally was dropping. Thanks.

Reagent is drawn a drop every 1.5 seconds. You can imagine how slow that creeps up. THAT is the reason why we recommend not extending the line too much. Only use what you need and do not loop because the longer the line is, the longer it will take for it to prime.

You can place a cup next to the KHG but if the line is long and looped, it will take just as long as if you place the cup away from the KHG and stretch out the line.

Just be patient and it will start to drop into the chamber. Out of all the units we have sold, I have YET to see one unit where the KS does not work. It just takes a long time to prime because of the length of the line.

Ok I tested using Salifert my KH9.9 however the machine came back with KH5.0 after the first test.

02/11 23:13:53 W.135 KS=40D L%0 S%0 AC_ERR KH :5.50

Something is wrong

All good now but it took forever. Now the machine is given me a KH reading of 5.0 when I tested KH9.9 using Salifert twice.

Yes me too, major headache averted! Well done sir!

For those that purchase the unit, the acrylic toothpicks that come shoved in the lines aren't connectors and should be discarded!
Man I should have READ this!!!

Ran another test. Again DKH 5.5. If thats true and the salifert test kits are way off then we have a problem. But if the KHG is wrong and I start increasing the KH, then thats another problem. The pH reads 7.8 which is the same as my APEX and Seneye.
