So I just set up a KH Guardian Controller and am having some difficulty setting it up. I followed all of the directions and set up all the check valves correctly, calibrated the ph probe, primed the lines and mounted the ph probe with the rubber tape aligned in the middle of the titanium block like it said. I
However, I keep getting different dKH values each time I run the test and it is also giving me an error. Of KH<ERR. I looked on the manual and that said the error means that the actual value of dKH tested is 1.5 less than the ‘KH auto correct’ input target.
I am a little low on my alkalinity and want to maintain it around 7. So I have my KH auto correct set to 7.0 but I am confused because none of the results from the tests it ran is more than 1 dKH less than target. Can anyone shed some light on this and give me an idea as to what I should do? Thanks!
