Kidney Shot WWC frag

Anyone else get one of these frags, it just has not colored up as I thought it would. All my other Acropora are great and colorful plus branching out except this one. Any suggestions are welcomed [emoji4]

What are your tank parameters? Acropora will also occasionally brown out or bleach slightly when introduced into a new system, it can take a few weeks to months for them to return to their original coloration.

The tissue and polyps look healthy at least. How long has it been in your tank? Sometimes it takes a while as nautical_nathaniel mentioned.

Here’s mine, very slow grower. I also changed lighting from led to T5/led, so it may be a lil upset.

Thanks all! It's only been 4 weeks in tank. My phosphate & nitrate is testing at 0 but think refugium is taking off finally under Triton which is 4 weeks as well. I'm thinking Triton switch has something to do with it, however, I did get an awesome acro pack from Jason Fox at same time and those are doing great with the Mille already branching. I'll just give it time as it does look healthy otherwise.

You should know WWC keeps their system well fed nutrients up.

That doesn't look like the same coral. Look at the structure of the coralites. Are you sure you got the correct frag?

The new growth coralites his frag are starting to resemble it. Its impossible to tell what it would be in 2, 4 or 6 years.
Hope it wasn't expensive, I like yours better than theirs. Haha, looks healthier. Theirs looks stressed and dull. And common was another green acro? :)

What? His is all bleached out...
