I hope someone can identify this. I noticed it when I was cleaning the glass. It's a simple reef tank, easy going (unlike my seahorse tank 🤪). The only thing I've added in the past 6 months is a peppermint shrimp. In the tank is a giant toadstool, a few zoas, a couple of gorgonians, gsp, and other softies. There was a condy that I gave away but that was nearly a year ago. I've added a photo of the view from the other side where it's peeking up. If it's a new condy, it sure looks unhappy. I found a single aiptasia on a rock near the base of the toadstool that I used Joe's Juice on. That was two weeks ago. This popped up on a rock nowhere near the area I treated for aiptasia. Hope that info helps. Thanks

Looks like white sponge, I have it in my 75 and its a good sign of a mature reef. If it starts to grow over your corals make sure to cut it back, otherwise they are harmless filter feeders.
