Just ordered an apex for my system. Has anyone used an older Kindle Fire as a display, mounted near their tank? I was thinking I seen someone do it on a build thread but couldn’t find it. If so, anything I need to know to make it work? Thanks!

Awesome. My fire was getting so slow that I broke down and bought an iPad. The fire has just been sitting since. Might as well make i useful!

I didn’t find the fire to be particularly long lasting. It’s not designed to be on 24/7. I now use an iPad mini and close the cover at night. Has worked much better for me.

I have been using a cheap tablet I picked up on Amazon for a couple of years with no issues. It just stays on the Apexfusion page. I still use the standard display though at the same time.
