I just picked up a frag of these, any input on placement?

I have mine placed about 6 inches off the bottom with low flow, im getting great growth.

This sad R2R post is googles answer to a King Midas search. Really Google?! There are far better threads than this. But since it has been 5 years and no sweet king midus colonies in all your great zoa gardens let’s get the love in here people R2Rs and king midus’ net cred is relying on it.

King Midas are hands down one of the best spot of yellow in any light. And a must have under LEDs as they glow gold. They have earned the right to still be popular, 9 years later!!!!

I hacked up all of mine during my huge alk spike to save what I could. Once they were stable and safe I traded and shared them leaving me one frag left for the tank. It’s going to take a while to get it to it’s orginal glory.

That said: let’s see your king midus colony’s!!!! My sorry frag isn’t too much to look at now but hopefully in a couple months I can add to the colony shots with the rest of you.

One of my favorite Zoas. You don't need blue light to make them look good like you do with scrambled eggs.

One of the fastest growers in my experience. Really cool if you grow them next to Tubbs blues.
