Has anyone tried a KLIR 4 drop in to replace two of the socks in a CADE 1800/P? It seems like it will work but I thought I'd ask first. Thanks! :)

If I read the drawing of your sump correctly, you have 25 x27 cm to work with if you strip the filter sock section for any glass dividers.

It's a rather odd size when it comes to roller mats really; but I do believe that he Klir 4 will fit in your sock holder.

How about doing it it properly and fit a big roller instead? Clarissa SK-3000 and 5000 should fit if you remove the dividers. :)

Thanks, yes I could fit a larger one if I cut out some of the dividers in that section, the point though is to see if I can do it without doing that :)

It is really, really easy and once you've had a roller you're never going back to the socks anyway ;)

Just a box cutter then? I agree, definitely don't want socks!

Red Sea sells a sump modification kit :) or any wee thin scraper off Amazon will do the trick for you as well.
