The new sensor is a magnet mount sensor so it attaches to the sump. It’s the same triple sensor that comes in the icecap ato kit or the triple water sensor for the hydros
How does the water level in the sump reach it when the roll is dirty?

I think you use the magnet to mount the sensor wherever you feel the water level is too high and the roll should advance

What are our thoughts on these now? I am considering this on my new build. Or plumbing a different brand directly. My sump has 3 7inch removable sock holders. I would consider 2 Klir 7s and plug one..........or remove and plumb. Suggestions?

I use a reefmat 1200. the Klir sensors went out on mine and I never went back.

My sensor eventually crumbled apart, but I ordered a new one from Coralvue. For my Waterbox, this was the only option. Now that I've had it for a while, I like it. I feel it has helped with better phosphate management compared to when I was using just socks. I should note that because of my config, it sits on the second filter sock space. So I usually have a filter sock before it that I swap out every couple days. Sometimes I put the diverter in place instead of a filter sock. This causes me to consume the fleece much more quickly, of course.
