For now I am not complaining about the price ($19.99 for the DI-7 roll) but it might start getting expensive. I am seeing that the 50 micron paper may make the water even that much clearer I wonder if 100 or dare I even say 150 micron paper MIGHT be more appropriate for some of us with larger tanks filled with fish and corals.

I did a quick search here and did not see anything specific to this question, so has anyone heard of when CoralVue might have different micron options OR has anyone come up with a third party option that meets similar standards?

You can easily buy coolant filter paper/fleece but the problem is cutting the length and even more is that they usually come in rolls of 100 sq yards so even if you have the ability to clean cut the roll length, they would be too big to fit a KLIR because of the roll thickness.

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
