Koi fish

What are Koi fish like to keep? I'd get 3-4 of them, but I just want to have some basic info on what they're like

I have had a koi pond for 10 yrs they are very easy to keep , if your keeping them in an aquarium they will soon outgrow it,

Koi are a descendent of carp...so they get huge.....I have 3 in about 1500gals. Pond.

I maintain about 20 Koi pond here in San Diego from a 5k to 15k gallon, from the most cheapest simple to the most expensive filtration, I have an OLD saying do it right and you will have once ask away and I'll try to help

My neighbor has a whole pond full he sells them some times some of his weigh 15 to 20 pounds easy.

They get big, so lots of room to swim is a must. They need good filtration to survive. Other than that they are the coolest fish out there. Nothing like having a fish so tame you can hand feed him and pick him out of the water.
