Because I just got a conch and an urchin, I'm not planning on getting one right away but I'm thinking my next fish will be either a bristle tooth tang or a kole tang. I was just looking for people's opinions on this and maybe what your experiences have been with them.

A Kole is a bristle tooth tang really. The entire Ctenochaetus genus has such teeth.

Righto. The tomini is often referred to as a bristle tooth. That might be the one the OP is referring to. I love my kole so that would be my choice. He would also be able to hold its own against the puffer at least if it has some size.

Yeah this what I assumed.

That is what I meant, my mistake. My puffer hasn't shown any aggression to any of my other fish,he's only about 2 1/2 or 3 inches. Is one harder to care for or one more hardy then the other? Or are they the same in most aspects?
