Koralia Evolution 750

I have been using MaxiJet 1200s on Natural Wave Power Strips. They have worked well but I can't point them down without them blowing the sand all over the place. I've been looking at the Koralia Evolution 750 powerheads. It says they can be used on a wave timer. I like the idea of the magnet ball/socket mount and strong but gentle flow pattern. Anybody have any experience with them? Thanx.

i had one on a timer and it would start in reverse from time to time. i eventually took it off the timer. i don't know if it's repairable though.
