Korallin s1502 use for an extra effluent chamber

Hey guys I was wondering if I can use my Korallin s1502 (bio-denitrator) as an extra effluent chamber for my calcium reactor piggy back it with my calcium reactor Korallin c1502. I'm thinking of filling it up with calcium media and do you guys think I still have to use the recirculation pump which is an ehiem 1048. What is the best approach if this is possible to to do thanks for you guys help
